888 Food Planet @ Section 19 PJ

Monday, November 17, 2008

888 Food Planet situated in Section 19, far away from Housing area and near light industrial & commercial offices. The food court used to be an old paper factory. Now it serves as a convenient spot for workers around that area to go for lunch. They even have an indoor car park, as well as an outdoor car park.
Currently, there are around 30 stalls operating, and catering to those who want a quick bite and a cheap meal. They offer many types of food here. They have Nasi Lemak, porridge, 'Tai Chow', nasi kandar, dessert, noodle soups, Western, Japanese, Korean, Taiwanese, and many more.

This food court operates 24/7. Basically, it looks like any other food court with lots of food stalls surrounding customers' tables and chairs. To its credit, it is well maintained and is clean. The foods served are proportionate to the price paid and also there are plenty of choices to select from. Taste wise, most of them are average or above average. However, it heavily depends on individual preference.
Updates: The Taiwan Stall, their sauce for the noodle is sweet... mince meat is not good and pork chop is crispy (Good). As for the 'Wa Tan Ho' (ordered from 'Tai Chow Stall'), literally no taste at all, is just bland..... and the 'kuey teow' clump together.. (failed!)

So many choices. I tried the pork noodle soup. Was looking for non- greasy and non-fried food. So I chose the noodle. Quite good. Worth a try. There are other 'mouthwatering' looking dishes that I plan to go back and try.
