Nasi Lemak is called the national dish of Malaysia. Nasi Lemak is widely eaten in Malaysia, even as a dish served in schools. It is a breakfast dish, sold early in the morning at roadside stalls in Malaysia, where it is often sold packed in newspaper, brown paper or banana leaf. However, there are restaurants which serve it on a plate as noon or evening meals, making it possible for the dish to be treated as a delicacy. So where can you find a decent good Nasi Lemak in town? Try Village Park, it is located in Damansara Utama. When you walked into the shop, you’ll see their banner proudly stated their Nasi Lemak is best in Uptown.

Village Park usually crowded for brunch/lunch. It is advisable that if you decided to pay a visit, go for an early lunch. Otherwise, it would have been impossible to get a seat, competing with the 12-2pm lunch time mob. Their Nasi Lemak Ayam Goreng. It comes with the usual condiments like sambal, fried ikan bilis, chicken, cucumber slices and egg but it tastes unusually delicious. The rice is aggregated loosely together, instead of wet and clumpy. It also packed with heavy fragrance of the ginger with a little sweetness. Next, the Sambal is thick with onions, it numb your tongue and gullet on the way down, and finally settle into a nice warm burning sensation in the pit of your stomach. That’s a sure sign of good sambal. 43
The chicken is something not to be missed. It is well marinated in a secret mixture of spices and matches the crispy outside and tender inside perfectly. It has a smooth texture. Size does matter at Village Park, their provide huge chunk of chicken which is truly satisfying.

Need not to say more, GO TRY!
