Pork noodles come in either the soup, or dry version. The ingredients are about the same, the only different is that the dry version comes with marinated ground meat but it depends on various places. The pork balls are not exactly the round shaped ball that you would imagine. Rather, it is flat and rectangular shaped and come in a strip which the cook can break easily.

As for this Pork Ball Noodle (dry version) in Chow Kee Coffee Shop, it comes with generous amounts of rice vermicelli. You get about 3 pieces of pork ball, 2 slices of pork sausage and some pork mince to go with the noodles. It’s quite satisfying as the noodle is top with green and white spring onions, with chewy, crispy pork and a couple of thick slices of succulent, mildly spiced Chinese sausage. Each piece of pork ball tastes really fresh too.

Overall, this pork noodle is not oily and the pork balls are pretty big, have a firm texture to it, and tasted pretty good too. As usual, you get to choose from vermicelli, noodle, kuey teow, or the combination of them as the filler. But this is not the best pork noodle in town yet, so stay tune.
