Pantai Seafood Restaurant in Kampung Sungai Kayu Ara is owned by Wong Keong Fook, an established seafood importer in Klang Valley. Following the steps of its sister restaurant, Unique Seafood in Section 13, Jalan Kemajuan (Review soon…), Pantai Seafood offers a wide variety of local and imported seafood set in a location where customers would least likely expect a restaurant, it displays a cozy ''kampung'' ambience. Their location has a mysterious feel. Many customers usually travel to far out places like Klang in search of rustic settings and that is exactly what they are providing right in the heart of Petaling Jaya.

The Ying Yong Kailan or Kailan in two styles. The leaves were finely shredded and fried to a crisp together with a moderate amount of tiny anchovies and what appeared to be thinly sliced cuttlefish. Then they are stir fried Kailan (really tasty and quite unique).

Then the Pork Knuckle, the house specialty dish. It’s deep fried till golden brown with special marinated herbs and serves with a pepper based dipping sauce (like it and recommended to try it).

The Stir Fried Japanese Snails. Remove from its shell, the chef stir fried with oyster sauce and chili. The result is very chewy bite, sweet aromatic, and tangy.

Next, the Marmite Pork Meat is sweet in aromatic. Well marinated with the finest marmite sauce and the meat is very tasty and it is not over-cooked so the texture of the meat is just right (YUM YUM).

The Tom Yam Steam Red Talapia Fish, first of all, it is very fresh and the tom yam sauce is very good that patrons can just eat the sauce by itself.

Overall, Pantai Seafood Restaurant is worth more than just a visit. No wonder so many patrons have praised and recommended it to their friends.

I have been there 2-3 times and find the services there a bit slow. There probably has improved on that. :)
