Dim sum is the name for a Chinese cuisine, meaning “a pinch to the heart”which involves a wide range of small dishes served with Chinese Tea. It is usually served in the mornings until noon time. Dishes come in small portions. The items are usually served in a small steamer basket or on a small plate.
Jin Xuan offers you a good and fresh Dim Sum. The variety is OK with the usual steamed or fried dim sum. A must for us when you are there - deep fried yam puffs, siew mai and scallop prawn dumpling. Business must be very good, as they even have tables outside now, but believe that the action is right inside. Right at the side, is the kitchen and it is such fun to see what goes on inside. You'll see and hear all the action, right next to your table.
Each plate of dim sum is freshly steamed so expect to wait a bit. Service is ok but once the food arrives it's worth the wait. If you are coming here with impatient people, then suggest you go somewhere else. Pricey is affordable.
