(Nasi Lemak) Rock Café @ PJS11, Bandar Sunway

It was about a month ago, someone has suggested that the Nasi Lemak in Rock Café is nice and decided to try it out. This Rock Café is located in Bandar Sunway which is quite near to Sunway University College (3-5 minutes walk from campus) and Sunway Pyramid Shopping Mall (3-5 minutes drive). This is a huge 2 storey building where ground floor offers a variety of food and an internet café on the first floor. And this particular stall operated everyday from morning till late night.

The stall offers nasi lemak with a variety of choices like fried chicken, beef rendang, curry chicken, fries fish and many more. The first picture below features Nasi Lemak with dried red curry beef. The rice is not that fragrance, lack of coconut milk, and taste more like plain white rice. The beef texture is tender and spicy, but nothing special.

Next, Nasi Lemak with deep fried chicken and stir-fried vegetable (and fried egg if you refer to the last picture). As said earlier, the rice is not good and taste like normal white rice. The chicken is basically cooked in a normal deep fried, non marinated, plain piece of chicken. You can get it anywhere in Malaysia. On top of that, the stir-fried vegetable is quite oily. And refer to the next picture, you can find that the sambal is nothing unusual and very oily too.
