Jin Xuan Hong Kong Restaurant @ Damansara Utama (Uptown), Petaling Jaya
Friday, May 1, 2009
Not long ago, Jin Xuan opened their first branch in Damansara Jaya, Klang Valley area (their main branch is located in Kuchai Lama and named Kam Hin) last year and their business concept makes them a success. Within a year, they have started another branch in Uptown. Using the same concept, the restaurant is clean; staff is friendly and variety of dim sum to choose from.
Freshly steamed dim sum are placed on trays and brought to tables waiting to be chosen. Variety is the key word here, from the usual dim sum fare to Siew Mai, Har Gao, marmite pork ribs, buns and pastries. Most dim sum is tasty and yummy…
But then, the dim sum below, abit over steamed....
Deep fried prawn dumpling is also alright, fresh and luscious prawn shrouds within the crunchy skin with the right amount of crunchy bite.
And the Pan Fried Radish Cake, with a light and crispy layer, with bites of savory sweet flavor that fulfill patrons hungry tummy…
Deep Fried Yam with Pork also a nice dish....
Then the Sesame Ball, ok ok dish saja....
The Pork Bun is taste very good...must try...
Fried Glutinous Rice is yuuuummmmyyy...
Green Chili Yong Tau Foo, nicely done.
A word of advice, it may be crowded during public holidays and weekends and patrons have to put their names in a waiting list.
