According to their website, The Melium Group introduced DOME Café to Malaysians in 1995. To date DOME Café Malaysia has managed to perpetuate the fine lineage to a total of 18 DOME Cafes, 14 in Klang Valley and 3 in Penang and 1 in Sabah, making it the focal point that provides a convenient all-day one-stop café experience.
Dome’s philosophy stems from the basic values of modern day living, the concept which gives its home-away-from-home principle. At Dome café, patrons can drop by for comfort, coffee and conversation, a place for communities to meet, hang out, or simply carry on living outside of the home and the workplace. Its décor design of chestnut and oak wood environment provides a cozy, elegant ambiance for a great diversity of lifestyles – a business lunch, a relaxing afternoon or evening coffee respite, or even a family dinner.
Looking at their menu, they provide all-day breakfast, soups and salads, gourmet sandwiches, hot kitchen specials and desserts.
First stop, patrons can enjoy their “teas & chai” ranging from traditions teas, relaxing herbs drinks, smooth fresh fruits drinks, espreski and many more….
By now, most patrons should know that their Gourmet Chicken & Mushroom Pie is one of their famous dishes in town. Homestyle chicken and mushroom filling, in a porcelain bowl, tops with golden pastry cap, serves with sautéed vegetables. It’s a delicious dish for patrons that want to enjoy a light meal.
Next, the BIG Breakfast, comes with two eggs of your choice (sunny side, poached or scrambled) with mushrooms, chipolatas, harsh brown, tomato and toast, serves with a choice of grilled beef rasher or chicken ham….it’s not that bad nor good….ok oklar…
Patrons can choose the basic breakfast meal whic is the sausages & eggs on toast. Nothing special about the dish, sausages is quite dry and unappetizing.
The Spicy Olio Pasta, the spaghetti is tossed with fresh herbs, garlic, chili flakes, red capsicum, spinach, parsley and zucchini. With a choice of beef bacon bits and sliced chicken ham. The dish is tangy and for patrons who can't take spicy food, it's not that spicy.
Lastly, the Pancake Stack, consists of a stack of fluffy, thick pancakes served with berries, golden syrup and mascarpone cheese. It's nice and appealing to kids.
