Sunday, February 15, 2009
Well, mouthwatering-food blog is almost 4 months old and didn’t think about how many articles we would write here, how often we would publish a post or how many visitors/readers we would get. But here we are, TwoFiveBoyz has managed to publish our 100th post. Hopefully our readers will continue to support our blog…so see you all at the 1000th post…thank you.
After a long shopping day in 1Utama, and if you are craving for some nice Chinese dishes, why not try out this restaurant which located at ground floor, new wing of 1 Utama (same row with HSBC Amanah). The ambiance of this restaurant quite resembles some longstanding kopitiams, inclusion of some modernized outlook plus characteristics of Far East décor.
First stop, the 8 Treasure Fried Rice, In Chinese tradition, eight is a lucky number. It’s represented here by the delicious “treasures” that comprise the dish: eggs, shrimp, shiitake mushrooms, edamame, sausage or ham, pineapple, cashews and cilantro. It’s very nice and tasty.
As for the Cantonese Fried Kuey Teow, patrons will love eating Cantonese style kuew teow especially with lots of eggy gravy. Overall, the sauce is good and flavor is just right.
The Egg Fu Yong, this dish is prepared with beaten eggs, vegetables, meat and seafood. Egg foo young (Chinese: 芙蓉蛋, also spelled egg fooyung, egg foo yong, egg fu yong, or egg furong) is an omelet dish. The dish is tangy and aroma….yum…
