Fairy’s Garden Café @ Damansara Utama (Uptown), Petaling Jaya (Closed/Moved)

Thursday, October 30, 2008

One of the busy streets in Uptown, there lays a florist shop. But it’s not an ordinary florist you have always been to, how to describe the place. The café is pretty lovable. It’s a place you can enjoy a cup of coffee with friends, nibbling a slice of chocolate cake and surrounded by a garden with sweet flowering scents.
You can enjoy all these at Fairy’s Garden Café. On to the meal part, the café serves a fusion of Italian and French cuisine. Their signature dishes, the escargots are topped with the chef’s secret sauce and mixed herbs, the Dijon Mustard Grilled Chicken Drumstick is a good choice for the health-conscious as it is not too oily and last but not least, the Red Wine Rib Eye (good, should try) made with the chef’s secret sauce. It is the best-selling item at the café. For dessert, you can try their Tiramisu and Crème Brulee (Oklar).
Given that the place is relatively small (with all the flowers in the café), the café is able to cater 25-30 people. Fairy’s Garden also offers a variety of flowers to cater for different occasions and they also offers Tarot card reading which cost RM88 per session (quite expensive). So, when you have the chance, visit the place. It has nice food and peaceful surroundings. It is worth a try.

Magical... The menu's limited though. However, I like the Djon Mustard Chicken. Portion is just right. Price is ok. Worth a try. Parking is also limited.
