Oriental Pavilion @ Jaya 33 PJ
Friday, October 24, 2008
Oriental Pavilion situated in Jaya 33, is a brand new complex a.k.a hyperoffice concept (launched early 2007). It is fast gaining popularity since opened a couple of months. The entire restaurant facing the main street is of full-length glass windows, adding to the spacious-ness. Its spacious modern-contemporary concept deco of warm wood paneling is very appealing and quite different from the usual Chinese-style decoration. It is under the management of the Oriental Group of Restaurants, including Noble House (off Jalan Tun Razak), The Ming Room (Bangsar Shopping Centre), Yu Jia Village Seafood (Jalan Imbi, KL) and Maju Palace (Jalan Sultan Ismail).
The restaurant specializes in fine Cantonese cuisine with a modern twist and serving PJ’s most popular dim sum for lunch. Other specialties of Oriental Pavilion includes Double Boiled Coral Shark’s Fin in Shark’s Bone Soup, Hokkaido Abalone on Snowy Mountains, Fresh Water Prawns with ‘Hor Fun’ in Prawn Soup, Deep-Fried Chicken Wing with Glutinous Rice, Two Variety Pei Pa Egg Beancurd, Deep Fried Fish coated with Wasabi Sauce, etc and of course the Promotional Menus highlighting their specialties at Special Value Prices. The quality is top-notch, as expected from the premium prices charged. Adding the good ambience and service, this is not a bad place to spend your weekend afternoon with friends and family.
