Deutsches Gasthaus 2 @ Taman Tun Dr Ismail, Kuala Lumpur

This cozy little restaurant in Taman Tun Dr Ismail (TTDI), is a lovely place to meet up for drinks after work or for a hearty German meal. The atmosphere is nice, the service is fabulous, and the range of beers available is definitely impressive (lots of imported stuff, in bottles). According to them, they are good with Bavarian delights such as foot long sausages and pork knuckles (a bestseller here).
For appetizer, do try the Sautéed Mushroom. Cooking with some special sauce, the mushroom is aroma and tasty. Yum yum
No doubt the picture below is mixture of all types of sausages they have to offer, this dish below has Hungarian sausages (commonly smoked sausage, called Gyulai Kolbasz), Farmer Bratwurst (comes with beef, pork, and fat then grind together), Veal Sausages (traditional Bavarian sausage made from very finely minced veal and fresh pork bacon) and Thuringer Sausages (unique sausage from the German state of Thuringia, made from fine minced pork and beef). All these sausages are very tangy and finely grilled, patrons will sure love it. The dish also comes with boiled potatoes and green salad.
Then the Chicken Roll with Onion Confit, its Deep Breaded Chicken Roll, stuffed with onion, mushroom & cheese. And it serves with mixed vegetables & French Fries and chicken is cover with nice black pepper sauce. The chicken is delicious and a must try.
Fish Fillet in Mexican Style, using Dory Fish Fillet and topped with lightly spicy Salsa Sauce. And serves with Mashed Potatoes & Vegetables. The dish is yummy and texture wise is nice.
Overall, this is a place for people who loves beer and sausages, but find it quite pricey.

Margaritas were awesome :) although they only had 2 margarita glasses so we had to send them back each time to make the next drink....the sauteed mushrooms, garlic bread and some mexican spicy chicken dish was excellent too..
