Home Made Fish Head Noodle Restaurant @ Dataran Sunway, Kota Damansara, Petaling Jaya

Here at Dataran Sunway, patrons sure find all sorts of food and there is one restaurant specialize in Fish Head Noodle. Fish Head Noodle, is a kind of noodle soup in which the main ingredients are rice vermicelli and fried fish head (separated into chunks). This dish is notable for the creamy, rich soup, which is typically made using a mixture of fish stock and milk.
Before going into the main dish, let review their starter. The BBQ Pork’s Shoulder with Special Sauce. Served like satay skewers, the BBQ is marinated with their family secret ingredients & top up with special sauce. The pork was well marinated nonetheless; tasted very similar to fermented beancurd marination. Tender and juicy, this is quite good to snack on.
Then the Pork Ribs Black Bean Sauce with Steam White Rice on Lotus Leave, besides the Fish Head Noodle, this is their must try dish. Overall, it is delicious and the gravy eat with white rice is very good. Yummy! But too bad, the portion is bit small.
Stir Fried Hor Fun with Sliced Beef & Black Bean Sauce, a well stir fried dish indeed. It’s very tasty and again, the only downside is portion is too small.
Now onto the Fish Head Noodle, they serve quite a variety of fish head meehoon for you to choose from, you can choose what fish you like, and you can choose deep fried or no deep fried. They have also fish paste noodles.
It's served standard with four big chunks of deep fried fish head, lots of chopped tomatoes, and preserved vegetables (ham choi). The soup had a tinge of orange, different from the usual milky white that we were so accustomed to. This soup was thicker and skewed towards the sour side. If you have always like the light, sweet flavours of fish head soup, this might be too strong for your liking. As for the fish head, it had a very crunchy exterior but the meat was sweet, moist and springy; unlike most places which serves dry over fried fish slices.

If you like Fish Head Noodles, this is one fine restaurant to try out.
Immediately after you tried it, you will notice:
1) The soup is really "GAO"
2) There's so much meat & the fish meat is really sweet.
3) The portion is REALLY BIG.

Wow.. Lol! You reeeally get around.
today i have been there with my frens, feel so excited waiting for my favourite deep fried fish head noodle at first, but all dishes has been served to my frens except mine. Wait about 5 minutes, checked with d waiter, n d waiter answer "oohh... still cooking, will serve later." Ok fine. Wait another 10 minutes, still d same answer to me. At last d boss came & give me a STUPID FUCK excuse which is his staff did not key in my order. WHAT? WTF @$%&*@ Why previously ur waiter say tat their chef still cooking? Is it their chef cooking AIR or wat? Damn pissed off tat time. Finally i cancelled my order & left. Frm my p.o.v, d waiter should have checked with d kitchen before answering customer.
Sad...Very Sad indeed....
