Tai Thong newest outlet, the Imperial Garden at Intan Square (just locate right beside Asia Jaya/Armada Hotel). As for the décor, it’s quite amazing as they partake in a new realm this festive season and be mesmerized by the affluence and exquisiteness of authentic Chinese cuisine. Embellished with contemporary Oriental elegance in upscale comfort.
You can indulge yourself with affluence and exquisiteness of authentic Chinese cuisine. They have 6 private function rooms (VIP rooms) with the capacity to accommodate for 70 pax and an oriental elegant setting banquet hall that is able to cater for 600 pax for functions such as Wedding and Corporate events. Ordering of dim sums was done through their menu as they are prepared ala minute to ensure freshness. Choices were sufficient although not vast.
Firstly, the weekend special dim sum. The Deep Fried Pumpkin Ball. It’s very delicious.
Then the below is the Sweet Potato Tart. It’s very crunchy and you can taste the sweetness in the tart.
Deep Fried Meat Bun. Nicely fried and is just a so so dish.
Deep Fried Beancurd Roll with Prawn. It’s crispy and tangy. Yum!
Pork Porridge with Century Eggs. The porridge is smooth and cooks with perfection, and eats together with century eggs, patrons surely love it.
Steamed Fresh Fish Paste. The fish ball is yummy and the texture is bouncy.
The Home-style Yong Tau Fu. The lady finger is quite tasty with the fish taste which is freshly made. Then the eggplant with fish paste is also tangy. MMMmmmm
Premium Shrimp Dumpling. Here the size of the shrimp dumpling is big and the shrimp is very fresh. Definitely must try.
Next, Chicken Feet with Black Pepper. This dish is sort of a delicacy dish in the Chinese Cuisine. Patrons eat it and enjoy with a cup of rice wine. Here, this dish is average.
Steamed Pork Spare Ribs with Black Bean Sauce. This dish is scrumptious and juicy.
Lastly, Steamed Siew Mai with Shrimps. The outer covering is made of a thin sheet of lye water dough. The center is usually garnished with diced carrot. So nice and so delicious…………………..YUM
