Nam Heong believes that it is a must to forefront of meeting customer needs, and they are stepping into an exciting new era that offers a fresh outlook and uncompromising standards steeped in an excellent service, innovative dishes and a cool distinctive environment. Nam Heong has undergone a refurbishment. Since its takeover by Wong Nam Loong, the Nam Heong outlets have been brightened up with a contemporary décor and a strong emphasis on hygiene.
So what is the secret of Nam Heong’s fine chicken rice? At Nam Heong, their chickens come from Bukit Mertajam which is famous for its chickens. All their chicken are slaughtered at 3am and sent to each outlet. So, patrons are actually tasting a very fresh stock and not frozen. In addition, Nam Heong also offers a wide repertoire of dishes, which include Roast Chicken, BBQ Pork, Crispy Roast Pork (taste so good and very crispy), Healthy Herbal Soups and the ever popular Asam fish.
Be sure to try their chicken rice, as it’s quite unlike the usual fare and very tasty. Nam Heong serves a variety of good food at reasonable prices. Somemore, their Chili and Ginger sauce. To many patrons, it’s a classic sauce and not many restaurants make them better than the way they do it.
