Kari Kepala Ikan Tiga Restaurant @ Bandar Puchong Utama, Puchong

The name of the restaurant says it all….Kari Kepala Ikan = Fish Head Curry, it (Chinese and Indian roots) is a dish where the head of an Ikan Merah (literally "Red fish") - which is red snapper, is semi-stewed in a thick curry with assorted vegetables such as okra and brinjals and usually served with either rice. So, they should be famous for this fish head curry. Their Clay Pot Curry Fish Head is quite delicious and the fish is without the mud taste, so the meat is fresh. Together with recipe of the curry powder, the curry is delicious when combined with the fish head.


Next, Sweet and sour pork is a popular in Cantonese cuisine, North American Chinese cuisine, and Korean Chinese cuisine. It can also be found on the menu in most UK Chinese restaurants. This dish consists of deep frying pork in bite sized pieces, and subsequently stir-fried in a more customized version of sweet and sour sauce made of sugar, ketchup, white vinegar, and soy sauce, and additional ingredients including pineapple, pepper bell and onion….yum yum

Then the Lemon Deep Fried Chicken, the chef debones the chicken then deep fried till crispy and crunchy…after that, they use Lemon to make its gravy and pour onto it…..nice!

Another deep fried dish, the calamari. It’s pretty tasty and crunchy actually… for patrons that love calamari…

The Clay Pot Salted Fish and Belly Pork “Ham Yee Fah Lam Poh”, the pork is marinated and cooked in clay pot with ginger, dried chilies, onion and of course the salted fish pieces. The gravy is great with rice and the meat is tender and very delicious.

Steam Tofu with minced meat and prawn garnish with spring onions, a decent mouth-watering dish…..

Stir Fried Potato Vegetable, normal, nothing to compliant…
