Fong Lye Taiwan Restaurant @ The Gardens, Mid Valley City
Sunday, November 2, 2008
Fong Lye is located on the 3rd floor of Mid Valley, The Gardens. The interior designs and the décor are not bad; they used a lot of glass and the fashionable designed white sofa, the ambience looking good. However, all the tables are placed so close to each other that there is no way to have a conversation without worrying others might hear what others are saying. It’s pretty difficult to have a conversation too when there are so much noise going on.
Fong Lye has diversification of food choices, especially the wide variety of snacks in Taiwan. First of all, the Taiwan Braised Beef Noodle (Aromatic and a little spicy) and the Three Varieties of Supreme Diced Chicken (can try lar), following by the Sweet Potatoes Balls (not bad), Taiwan Style Glutinous Rice Wrap-up Sausage, Baked Sausage and other snacks to filling the stomach. If you would like to have something more outstanding, Taiwan Steamed Boat Set Meal would be a good choice.

Hmmm... nothing special here. Am looking for a nice Taiwanese restaurant that serves delicious and memorable Taiwanese cuisine. But, this is not the place.
