Fu Kua Restaurant @ Taman SEA, PJ

Bitter is back and back with style. For bittergourd lovers, this place is heaven. Fu Kua Restaurant is located in Taman SEA right next to Taman Megah area. They cater to everyday working people and they don’t serve only bitter gourd. It’s like a “tai chow” restaurant; they've got vast variety of food without bitter gourd. The business is pretty good as it is crowded and people waiting outside especially lunch hour. Their service is quick and attentive.
The menu list is very long and you should be trying those that cooked with Fu Kua. They have Fu Kua noodle, Fu Kua fried eggs, Fu Kua Fried Rice and much much more. The most recommended one is the Famous Soup Bitter Gourd with pork slices, pork meatballs, chicken slices, ginger slices and tomatoes (Yummy). They also have bitter gourd drink with assam boi (refreshing). In addition, their “chiu pai” (specialty) tau fu (house brand tofu) is fried and then top with minced pork sauce (a must try). Last but at least, you have to order the marmite chicken or pork, the meat is marinated with the right amount of marmite. Seen as a whole, the food here are good and reasonably priced. Even if you are not a bitter gourd fan, is worth a try.

Delicious! Reminds me slightly of New Paris but they focus more on bittergourd.
Food is very delicious, but do not, I repeat, DO NOT order their water chestnut desserts. Bad.. :-(
