Alexis Bistro started operation in 2006 and located in the Bangsar Shopping Centre. Alexis BSC features its ambiance of a relaxed and stylish elegance. This bistro is spacious, main color theme is white, can be divided into a large dining room (can seat 20 pax) with an elegant bar section where they have display their selection of cakes right next to the bar. The marble-top bar itself is the centerpiece of the room with glass panels and naked light bulbs proving that the industrial and contemporary can complement each other. Their stylish décor offers a fashionable setting for the perfect meal at any time. The waitressing service is very friendly, polite and smile all the time. Their service is perfect.
All the Alexis favorites are on the menu, along with some great new offerings and a superb wine list. They also have a wide selection of cakes and desserts here, so take your time and they have apple pie, banana cake, black and white chocolate, blueberry cheesecake, bread and butter pudding, chocolate bittersweet, carrot cake, cheese cake, chocolate walnut, chocolate banana mascarpone, chocolate berries meringue, chocolate brownies, chocolate cinnamon, chocolate moist, chocolate mousse, chocolate silk, tiramisu, italian cream cake and many many more. Furthermore, they do offer Pasta, Malaysian dishes (like laksa, chicken rice, an etc) and main meals.
For starter, the stuffed calamari is quite interesting and especially the taste factor. Although most patrons would like it deep fried, they stuffed with mushroom, spices, vegetables and shrimp then sautéed the calamari accompany with a couple of slices of lemon (hhmmm….not tasty actually..=p).
For desserts, you should try the ever famous Mixed Nuts Tiramisu with homemade strawberry sauce. What nice about this dessert is the nuts glazed with honey on top of the cake which gives the extra kicks. No doubt, the tiramisu is soft and smooth in the middle with thick layer of cream, crunchy and sweet on the outside.
Next, the carrot cake is by far one of the best in town. It’s very smooth and quite satisfies.
For drinks, Citron Presse and Peach Soda are both refreshing and coolly. And for Caramel Tea, it is warm and calming. Patrons can enjoy these drinks and sit back and enjoy the ambiance with friends and family.
Basically, their reputation for excellent desserts was justified and their service is great. For dessert lovers, this bistro is a must-try.
