Wendy’s @ Giant, Kota Damansara
Thursday, December 18, 2008
It’s all began in 1969, when Dave Thomas opened the first Wendy’s Old Fashioned Hamburgers restaurant in Columbus, Ohio. And now, there are over 600 branches around the world and Wendy’s has already established 7 branches in Malaysia (Sunway Pyramid, IOI Mall, Jaya One, Jalan Sultan Ismail, Mont’ Kiara, Giant Kota Damansara and Aeon AU2). For more information, please visit their website here to find out.
The menu is quite extensive with choices of their famous square hamburgers (the patties are square, not the bun), grilled and fried chicken burger, chicken nuggets and fried chicken, fish sandwiches and even a shrimp sandwich. Besides, their specialties are the serving of three quarter pound triple with cheese (so big, how to finish….), baked potatoes with selection of toppings (worth trying), chili (Real American chili, with beef and beans and it is damn good) and their bun.
Look at the Spicy Chicken Sensation (above), the bun is so soft (believe it is fresh made everyday) and the chicken is well fried & crispy. Said to be made when you order, it definitely didn't taste as it has been sitting in a warmer which is great.
The half pound burger..........MMMmmmmMMM...nice...
Overall, the French fries is also not bad too. But price is a little bit on the high side compare to the other fast-food restaurants.
