(Dim Sum) Damansara Palace Restaurant @ Jalan PJU 3, Petaling Jaya
Tuesday, December 9, 2008
To find a good dim sum in Petaling Jaya with good ambiance and reasonably priced, why not pay a visit to Damansara Palace Restaurant. Mentioned in (our) previous post, the restaurant provides a cozy and tranquil dining environment. Service wise, they have adequate staff to serve patrons and pour Chinese Tea non-stop every 5-10 minutes, and their captains are very friendly & quite accommodating.
Unlike many Dim Sum restaurants, customers will place their orders on a piece of paper and only then they instruct the chef to steam the customers’ choices of dim sum. This is to guarantee that all foods are served hot and fresh.
They have quite a number of varieties especially on Sunday. They have Vinegar Pork Leg (Very good, but available on Sunday), Fried Glutinous Rice (not bad, also on Sunday), sesame ball, Siew Mai, Har Kau (Prawn Dumpling, Fresh!), porridge, BBQ pork bun, Chau Loh Bak Kou (Fried Loh Bak), Loh Mai Kai (Glutinous Rice) and many many more………………. On the whole, all Dim Sum is quite tasty and freshness is guarantee but their chili sauce is a bit letdown.
